You bring the project. We take it off your plate and handle every part of it, from the first file to the last delivery.
Print, packaging and promo in one place.
PLC’s story starts in 1996, when our founder, Rajiv Rai, first worked on a Heidelberg press and saw what that machine could produce. Through the 1990s and early 2000s he worked with many of San Francisco’s best-known ad agencies, on work for brands like Levi’s and Gap.
In 2013 he started PLC, Print Life Communications, as a print company in Berkeley. Clients kept asking for more: packaging for their products, merch for their teams and events. We were already sourcing those pieces to finish their projects, so we made it official.
“Print Life” means the whole life of an imprint: putting a logo or ink on paper or on any object. If it carries your brand, we can make it.
One person owns your project: quotes, files, proofs, production, delivery. No chasing three suppliers for answers. Working with one contact long term means cost and quality are checked the same way on every job.
Digital or offset, corrugated or rigid, embroidery or screen print. We match each job to the right method in our production network.
Every job is proofed before it runs. When color really matters, we arrange a press check so you see it on paper first.
Order in volume and keep it with us. Our warehouses in California and Georgia hold your boxes, print and merch until you need them.
Kits, restocks and rollouts shipped nationwide, to one office or hundreds of addresses, from our California and Georgia fulfillment.
Teams that order the same items again and again get a Corporate Storefront: log in, order, done.
Recycled and recyclable material options are available on many jobs. Just ask.
Buying print usually means three quotes, three suppliers and three sets of follow-ups. With PLC, print procurement runs through one contact. You send one request for the brochures, the boxes and the event swag. We match each piece to the right process in our production network, send you one set of proofs, and deliver it all together, or store it until you need it.
It also means one purchase order and one person who knows the whole project.
“Ordering online is great when you know exactly what you want. But when a project gets complicated, you want someone with 30 years behind them. Talk to me, and you can relax knowing even the hardest job gets done right and on time.”Rajiv Rai, Founder
